Director of the Research Centre for System Risk Management
Johannes Platje is Professor WSB Merito University in Wrocław. His research examines system risk, resilience, and sustainability in socio-economic systems, focusing on how institutions and leadership shape responses to uncertainty and crisis. He studies the mechanisms through which cognitive, social, and organizational factors amplify or mitigate systemic vulnerabilities. As founder and editor-in-chief of the Central European Review of Economics and Management, he advances interdisciplinary dialogue on managing system risk and building sustainable, adaptive futures.
André Bastiaan Dorsman
André Dorsman (1954) was professor in Finance and Investments, is now CFO of two ltd’s in cyber security, was president of CEVI (Centre of Energy and Value Issues) till 2023 and is now member of the board of trustees of CEVI. In the past he was CFO of LMG Emerge, a company that selects asset managers in Emerging and Frontier Markets and CEO of Onna, a company that sustainably transforms vacant churches into care apartments.
He has a 30 years of experience in consulting and economic research in risk management and investment analysis.
